Dr. Kate Pan

Dr. Pan practices in the area of clinical psychology. She provides evidence-based therapy that draws primarily from cognitive-behavioural (CBT) and interpersonal (IPT) therapy approaches. She works with children, adolescents, and adults presenting with a variety of concerns including:
· Anxiety (e.g., social, general, phobias)
· Depression
· OCD and related disorders
· Social/Relationship and communication issues
· Stress/adjustment
Dr. Pan is guided by the principle that a strong client-therapist relationship is crucial to effective treatment outcome. To this end, she adopts a collaborative and flexible approach to treatment, encouraging clients to openly discuss their therapeutic objectives and challenges.
Dr. Pan also provides psychological assessments for children and adolescents presenting with a wide range of issues including:
· Learning disorders
· Intellectual disabilities
· Attention difficulties
· Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disorders
· Behavioural difficulties
· Mental health concerns
A registered clinical psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, Dr. Pan completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Saskatchewan in 2011. She completed her predoctoral residency in clinical psychology in the University of Manitoba’s Clinical Health Psychology Program in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Over the past 15 years, she has trained and worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, forensic institutions (working with adults and adolescents), community mental health clinics (working with children, adolescents, and adults), private practices, and two different school boards.
