Ms. Vanja Vidovic holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and is currently completing her PhD at the University of Waterloo, where her research delves into the dynamics of social anxiety and close friendships processes. In addition, she has previously conducted research on perfectionistic attitudes and mental health outcomes.
With experience in psychodiagnostic and psychoeducational assessment, as well as psychotherapy, Ms. Vidovic provides services that address a range of concerns. This includes:
· Understanding personal learning profiles and neurodevelopmental disorders
· Interpersonal difficulties, such as social anxiety and relationship conflicts
· Obsessive-compulsive behaviour
· Emotion regulation difficulties
· Perfectionism and critical self-attitudes
Her clinical training spans local outpatient clinics, specialized work with first responders, and the Grand River Hospital’s Specialized Mental Health Unit. She completed her pre-doctoral residency at London Health Sciences Centre, gaining expertise in the Prevention and Early Intervention for Psychosis Program, Concurrent Disorders Services, and the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit.
Ms. Vidovic primarily employs Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), adapting her approach to meet the unique needs of each individual.
