Dr. Pink practices in the area of clinical psychology.
Dr. Pink provides assessments to help individuals better understand their strengths and difficulties and access appropriate services. She offers psychoeducational and psychodiagnostic assessments to adults with a broad range of concerns (e.g., mood, anxiety, personality, learning and attention).
Dr. Pink also provides evidence-based therapy to adults looking for assistance with various concerns, including:
Navigating major life transitions, changes, and stressors (e.g., related to illness, caregiving, school/work)
Anxiety and stress
Depression
Relationship issues
Dr. Pink works collaboratively with her clients to integrate evidence-based approaches (e.g., cognitive behavioural, mindfulness) and tailor treatment to their needs and goals.
Dr. Pink received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Simon Fraser University. She completed the CPA-accredited Calgary Clinical Psychology Residency program, with rotations in psychological assessment, cognitive behavioural therapy, and psychosocial oncology. Dr. Pink pursued advanced training focused on supporting individuals with health concerns and their family members through a clinical fellowship at the University of Calgary Cumming School of Medicine and Tom Baker Cancer Centre in Calgary, Alberta. She previously worked as a staff psychologist at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre and presently works part-time as a psychologist at the Juravinski Cancer Centre in Hamilton, Ontario. Dr. Pink is also a Clinical Adjunct Faculty Supervisor at the University of Waterloo.
Dr. Pink’s research interests focus on promoting effective communication in close relationships and developing and evaluating programs to support people with chronic illness.
